Article Processing Charges
Open Access Publishing
Open access publishing offers a modern approach to scholarly publishing, providing immediate, global, and unrestricted access to the full text of all articles. This model allows readers to freely view, download, print, and share articles, significantly increasing the visibility and impact of an author’s work compared to traditional subscription-based models.
In this model, publication costs are covered by Article Processing Charges (APCs), which are typically paid from the author’s research funds or by their supporting institution. These charges replace subscription fees, ensuring that every published article is freely accessible to all readers. Additionally, authors retain copyright over their work, which is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution License, permitting unrestricted use and distribution as long as the original work is properly cited.
The Indo-American Journal of Pharmaceutical Research follows the open access model. Authors are required to pay APCs upon acceptance of their manuscript. Beyond these charges, no additional fees are imposed. The APC details are as follows:
Manuscript Type APC
Any Article ₹1,550 (Indian Authors)
$100 (Foreign Authors)
Note: A 50% discount on the total invoice is available for authors from SAARC countries (excluding Indian authors).
